At MDI Salon Equipment Inc., we strive to provide high-quality products and excellent customer service. If you need to return an item, please review the following policies to ensure a smooth process.


In-Store Returns & Exchanges

  1. Condition Requirement: Returned items must be in the same condition as when they were purchased.
  2. Return Window: Items may be returned within 15 days of purchase for a refund, store credit, or exchange.
  3. Restocking Fee for Refunds: A 25% restocking fee applies to all items returned for a refund.
  4. Store Credit for Returns: Items returned for store credit will receive full credit for the amount paid, provided they are returned in their original condition.

Online Returns & Refunds

  1. Refund Exclusions: Online order refunds exclude shipping fees.
  2. Return Shipping Responsibility: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  3. Return Authorization: All returns require prior approval from MDI Salon Equipment Inc. and a valid return or sales number. To request a return, please contact our Customer Care team at +1 281-466-4119 before shipping back any items. All agreements made between the customer and MDI Salon Equipment prior to the issuance of a return authorization, or in the absence of one, are considered final and binding. 
  4. Return Shipping Method:
    • For parcel returns: Use FedEx or UPS.
    • For freight returns: Use an official freight carrier and provide tracking information.
    • Failure to follow these return procedures may result in a denied return.

Damaged or Defective Items

  1. Reporting Timeframe: Any damages must be reported within 48 hours of purchase (for in-store items) or 24 hours of delivery (for shipped items).
  2. Online Orders - Shipping Damage Claims:
    • If an item is damaged during shipping, the shipping carrier assumes responsibility.
    • Customers must provide video evidence of damage within 24 hours of receiving the item.
    • MDI Salon Equipment Inc. will file a claim with the carrier and may offer a replacement based on the claim outcome.
  3. In-Store Purchases:
    • Customers must inspect items at the time of purchase.
    • Any damages found after 48 hours will not be the responsibility of MDI Salon Equipment Inc.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned under any circumstances, including:

  • Custom or special-order items
  • Items that have been used or installed
  • Items returned in a damaged or altered condition

Processing Refunds & Store Credits

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Store credits will be applied to the customer's account for future purchases.
  • Processing Time: Refunds and store credits are typically processed within 7-10 business days after the return is received and inspected.
